The music of Dominican are Merengue and Bachata: Merengue is mix the reggae and bachata is the favorite music of Dominicans. The Merengue instruments are guira, marraca , aordeon, this music is the roots of a Dominicans proud of this  culture. Bachata its a persecution rhythm, the roots of bachata come from Cuba, Africa and Dominican Republic. the Bachatas instruments are marimbas, timbales, bongos, and guira.

Salsa

Salsa is a danceable musical genre resulting from the synthesis of cuban son and others genres of Caribbean music with jazz en other American rhythms.the salsa was consolidated as a comercial success by musicians of portorican origin in the city of New York in the 1960,although it roots go back to previous decades in countries of the Caribbean basin.

1. Bachata: It was danced before the merengue and has great acceptance in the humble class. 2. Baile de los Palos: This dance is of a religious nature. The dance is done with a single couple that is exchanged, it is also known as the dance of the atabales. 3. Carabiné: It arises in 1805 when the invasion of Desalines arrives in the country. In this dance the cane handler is the person who directs. 4. Enrolled Chenche: It arises when they send Segovia's license plate and mix it with Dominican music. It is danced jumping on one foot. It is cheerful and festive. 5. Mangulina: This dance has its name because when it was danced for the first time, in Baní, mango flowers fell. 6. The Yuca: This dance has a choreography focused on cassava and cassava. 7. Panviche: It arises from the dominicanism of Palm Beach that was where the uniforms of the North American military were made. It's a slow dance.
